FDA Warns Users of SGLT2 Inhibitors of Ketoacidosis

Drugs that will be included in the upcoming lawsuits
- Invokana / Invokamet
Invokana is a brand name of the drug Canagliflozin, and is produced by Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Invokamet is also made by the same company but includes the drug metformin.
Farxiga is the brand name of the drug Dapagliflozin manufactured by Bristol-Myers Squibb in partnership with AstraZeneca.
Jardiance is a brand name for the drug known as empagliflozin. This drug is produced by Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
- Xigduo XR
Xigduo XR is a drug composed of a combination of dapagliflozin and metformin, and is produced by AstraZeneca.
Glyxambi, like Jardiance, is mainly composed of empagliflozin but also includes linagliptin. produced by Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc., the same company which produces the drug Jardiance.
